My school schedule has shifted from 5 full, busy days in the summer to three breezy days this fall. Things are sure to get crazy -- especially when I'm working 36 hours a week in a hospital on top of classes twice a week, but for now I'm home a lot.

This means I've got to make myself busy and make my home into a happy hotspot of stuff to do. 

Most importantly is using our patio (pictured). My parents gave us an umbrella and stand (which actually holds the umbrella in place during a windy day!). B bought a table on clearance at Home Depot a few weeks ago. And now we have a heavenly little patio workplace. The table has enough room for B, Mr. Meowgi and me. Mr. Meowgi and Dizzy come outside to lurk in the grass, sun themselves and chase bugs. B and I sit outside to work, read, drink coffee and breathe fresh air. It's fantastic.
